On Friday, August 20th, Glenn Murphy was upgraded to the rank of Systema Instructor by Vladimir Vasiliev. This promotion was granted after a week of intensive physical training during the 2010 Systema Summit of Masters seminar.

With this promotion, Glenn becomes only the second person in the state of NC to hold the title of Systema Instructor. Glenn has been training in Systema for over 5 years and has served as an Instructor-in-Training for the past two years. During that time he has traveled extensively to seek out the best instruction in order to hone his skills as a student and teacher. In addition to learning how to defend against armed or multiple attackers, Glenn has also dedicated a lot of study to the use of proper breathing in order to improve physical performance.
